About Me

Hello. I’m Jan Gustin, the owner and principal trainer of Sensible Training. When I opened Sensible Training in 2010, I chose the name very intentionally. After working in
health clubs and seeing how ineffective (and sometimes dangerous) personal training could be in those facilities, I opened this business to offer women the comfort of one-on-one training that’s right for them. If you become a client, we will work together to increase your strength, fitness, flexibility, and confidence in ways that are safe and get results.
I am a Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise. I specialize in one-on-one training that is personalized for your needs and goals including preserving and gaining strength and increasing mobility and flexibility – all crucial to preserving our stability, functionally, and confidence as we age.

Heart health is vital. We know this. I tailor the cardio to your fitness level and we work from there. This will boost your endurance, improve circulation and support overall heart health.
